Submission New writers from across the country can start submitting new works to the Zeros 2 Heroes site starting in October. Make as many submissions as you like, provided you use our online tools. Voting Voting will begin in November and will continue until the Comic Creation Nation winds down next spring. In addition to rating and reviewing, Zeros 2 Heroes members will be able to formally vote for the best comic pitches. And don’t worry: our system is designed to prevent vote fraud and other forms of crowd hacking. Selection Once the first winner is selected, we’ll make an announcement on the site and in the media. And we intend to keep announcing another new selection each week until the money runs out. We think the community voting process will yield a wide variety of exciting and unexpected works... but ultimately it will be up to you to decide which writers start their journey from zero to hero. | | Team Building Selected writers will be assigned an editor who will work with the script to create the best possible book. A team of artists will be assembled based on how their personal aesthetic matches up with the story. Production Stem to stern, creating each comic will take approximately two months. Throughout this process, fans will be able to view the "making of" online and offer feedback, suggestions and ideas. Publication Once created, the comics will be loaded into our custom viewer and digitally enhanced to make the online reading experience more enjoyable. Distribution The finished works will be distributed throughout the Zeros 2 Heroes social network (and beyond) via our subscription system. Even if you’re an undiscovered writer from Yellowknife, you’ll be able to track the opinions of readers from around the world. |
