I really appreciate the comment...the target demographic is pretty much anyone who thinks they could get something out of the story, but if it lures even a few young women away from "Twilight" then I'll be satisfied.
But if they burn themselves and start wearing "VESUVIUS'S LOVER!" t-shirts then I'll probably pull a J.D. Salinger. -

Thanks again, Big Red!! And you LOL at Mary Sue Land, but it's one of my biggest fears as a writer to have a serious character who's...you know...perfect. It's one thing if it's played for laughs, obviously, but for a dramatic series a flawless character just doesn't fly. So if you see her starting to be too awesome, be sure to let me know so I can cap it :)

Dissonance is going to get a major boost in Issue 5, but Issue 4 is really where I tried to throw in hints about her potential as a character. I know how much you and my Beta Readers love her, though, so I have to do my best to keep her from straying into Mary Sue land.
