We’re Like Your Own Private Comic Studio

As our online audience rates, reviews and refers your pitch, the stories that the community stands behind will rise to the surface. The top contenders will be given development deals with Zeros 2 Heroes. If you’re one of the chosen few, we’ll team you up with professional editors and artists who have been selected for their talent and commitment to your project.

Over the next two months, you’ll see your work come to life on Zeros 2 Heroes. Once it’s published, the fun really begins as our marketing team starts the process of pitching your story as the foundation for a film, television series, animated feature, video game... or graphic novel.

Being one of the People’s Choice of Comic Creation Nation: APTN means more than just a professionally produced comic book based on your script- it could be the beginning of a whole new career!

- Kevin Mckay

(On the experience of sharing

his winning pitch with his son)

The fact that a tiny exercise of a pitch, emerging halfway formed from my mind in barely two weeks, moved on to become the eighth winner of Canada: Comic Creation Nation is nothing short of astounding to me.

- Christian Major

(Acceptance speech referring

to the strength of the community)

Still, if there’s one thing the struggle to make a living writing has taught me, it’s that the reward isn’t at the destination so much as it’s in the journey. And on this particular journey I’ve learned useful things, and I’ve made friends, and I’ve had some good times and heard some good stories. You can’t ask much more than that.

- John Sullivan

(Acceptance Speech)

I’m just thrilled that it’s a totally different kind of hard work than I’ve ever done before!

- Jennica Harper
